As the Artistic Director of Nebula -- and a pianist myself -- I truly believe in the power of collaboration and the magic that happens on stage. Some of my most cherished musical experiences have come from working closely with other musicians, where we don't just share the music but also the emotions, challenges, and the unique experience of truly listening to one another. It compels you to breathe with your collaborative partners, maintaining your own artistic and musical identity while simultaneously creating something new together in the moment.
That's why this program places a strong emphasis on active performance opportunities at Nebula Hall, allowing pianists to refine their artistry in a real concert setting. Beyond musical growth, these collaborations foster deep artistic bonds, friendships, and professional connections, making music not only an artistic pursuit but also a joyful and enriching experience.
