At Nebula, we are proud to present the Nebula Pianist Programme, designed to train and inspire pianists not only as soloists but also as collaborative artists. Our mission is to explore the art of chamber music, vocal collaboration, and various ensemble formats, equipping pianists with the skills and experiences needed to thrive in a dynamic musical world. As the Artistic Director of Nebula—and a pianist myself—I truly believe in the power of collaboration and the magic that happens on stage. Some of my most cherished musical experiences have come from working closely with other musicians, where we don’t just share the music but also the emotions, challenges, and the unique experience of truly listening to one another. It compels you to breathe with your collaborative partners, maintaining your own artistic and musical identity while simultaneously creating something new together in the moment. That’s why this program places a strong emphasis on active performance opportunities at Nebula Hall, allowing pianists to refine their artistry in a real concert setting. Beyond musical growth, these collaborations foster deep artistic bonds, friendships, and professional connections, making music not only an artistic pursuit but also a joyful and enriching experience. WHAT WE OFFER: • REGULAR COACHING – Receive feedback from Wenwen Du on piano interpretation and ensemble playing, and rehearse with our artist-in-residence as a duo ensemble. • WORKSHOPS – Engaging and interactive sessions to develop skills while connecting with fellow musicians. • MASTERCLASS SERIES – Learn from experienced professionals and refine your technique. • PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES – Play in concerts, staged productions, and collaborative settings. • COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT – We actively promote our roster of musicians, connecting them with meaningful local events and venues beyond Nebula Performances. Whether you are a soloist looking to expand your horizons or a pianist passionate about collaboration, the Nebula Pianist Programme is the perfect place to grow, perform, and connect. Join us at Nebula Performances for many wonderful opportunities, refined artistry, and exciting adventures!
