Join us for Tricks and Treats! A halloween themed classical concert

nebulaperformances

Something spooky this way comes! We are very excited for our very first halloween themed recital coming up on Friday October 25th at 7:30pm in the Nebula Performance Hall. This recital will feature some of our very own Artists-in-Residence: Tamar Simon, Catherine Thornsley, Katie Fraser and Geoffrey Schellenberg with our artistic director and pianist Wenwen Du. This recital will certainly get you in the halloween spirit featuring classic art song and opera scenes about elements of the wicked, cursed and spooky. You can expect to hear some classics like "Erlkönig" and "Der Tod und das mädchen", as well as some music from operatic witches and mad scenes, and of course some music from none other than The Phantom of the Opera. We hope you can join us for this beautiful, spooky, and fun concert!

We encourage audience members to dress up as well!

Recently seen in the Masterclass Series:

Our recent masterclass with Professor Lee Kum-Sing was a great success! Our participants and audience members learnt so much from Mr.Lee and got some beautiful insight to the artistry of being a pianist. A heartfelt thank you to all the participants, parents, teachers, and music enthusiasts who joined us for our very first piano masterclass! We were deeply honoured to have Mr.Lee, our honorary professor, share his incredible knowledge and passion with all of us.

Next up in The Masterclass Series: Professor Nancy Hermiston

Join Nebula Performances in welcoming lyric coloratura and Head of Voice and Opera at the University of British Columbia, Nancy Hermiston!
