Get to know our President, Alice Chee!

Ms. Alice Chee has a deep passion for nurturing aspiring musicians, recognizing their potential, and guiding them towards growth and success. She believes strongly in the transformative power of music and its ability to enrich lives, which is why she raised her children with music lessons to foster creativity, discipline, and a lifelong appreciation for the arts.

Alice founded Nebula to cultivate meaningful connections between experienced and emerging artists, creating an environment where knowledge is shared, mentorship thrives, and a strong link between generations is established. Nebula is a safe and supportive space for young musicians to learn, refine their craft, and gain valuable performance experience. It provides them with opportunities to practice and perform, ensuring they feel seen, valued, and encouraged in their musical journey.

Nebula acts as a catalyst, empowering the next generation of musicians to reach new heights and unlock greater opportunities for a brighter future. Alice would like to extend a warm welcome to all members of the community to come support and celebrate our artists!

A huge congratulations to the VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation on the incredible success of the VGH Shine Gala - Cyber the Future. Raising $1.8 million CAD is an outstanding achievement - what an incredible milestone! Our Nebula Performance artists were honoured to take part in such a meaningful evening, delivering a wondering performance and using the gift of music to support the community. It was truly a rewarding experience, and we remain dedicated to collaborating through music and the arts within our community here in Vancouver.
