🎄✨ Nebula Noël: Two Magical Holiday Concerts
Celebrate the season with Nebula Noël, our annual pair of festive Christmas concerts! Join us on December 7th and December 13th at 7:00 PM for two warm and joyful evenings featuring solos, duets, ensembles, and seasonal favourites performed by our talented singers and instrumentalists.
Each concert includes beloved classics like Silent Night (in English and German) and We Wish You a Merry Christmas, bringing together the full Nebula community in the spirit of togetherness.
After the performance, stay for our signature afterglow — complimentary festive treats, good company, and a chance to mingle with the artists.
Organized by Artistic Director Wenwen Du, Nebula Noël is a heartwarming celebration of music, community, and the magic of the holidays.

🎃 Halloween Spooktacular Recap
Nebula was absolutely on fire this Halloween! Our Spooktacular Halloween Concert lit up the stage with incredible performances, bold costumes, and nonstop energy from start to finish.
Every performer took the theme to heart; from elegant arias to haunting melodies, the night was filled with creativity and fun. The crowd matched the spirit perfectly, showing up in epic costumes and making the evening one to remember.
A huge thank you to our talented Nebula artists, whose passion brought every piece to life, and to our technical wizards Lynol and Bryan, whose lighting and visuals transformed the space into a true Halloween dreamscape.
“So grateful for my debut at Nebula last night!! Lots of love to everyone who came out and made it so special,” - one of our performers shared after the show, capturing the joy of the night perfectly.
Our Artistic Director expressed it best:
“It’s so wonderful to see so many young, talented musicians shining on Nebula’s stage — stellar singers, fantastic Nebula Pianists, and such enthusiastic, supportive audiences! None of this would be possible without Director Lynol’s endless support and President Alice’s trust, letting me explore and create adventurous programs.”
The celebration continued after the curtain call with our Halloween party, where laughter, music, and community filled the night.
🍿 Movie Night at Nebula
Our very first Popcorn & Movie Night on October 22nd was a wonderful success. The Nebula community came together for an evening of laughter, connection, and relaxation. This is a perfect chance for artists, musicians, and friends to unwind and enjoy a cozy night at our transformed “Nebula cinema.”
The atmosphere was filled with great conversation, popcorn, and the kind of warmth that reminds us why community is at the heart of everything we do.
We’re excited to announce our next Movie Night, celebrating the birthday of Maria Callas on December 2nd - the legendary American-Greek soprano and one of the most influential opera artists of the 20th century.

🌟 Nebula Performances to Shine at the 2025 LIVERight Gala
Nebula Performances was honoured to take part in Liver Canada’s 2025 LIVERight Gala on Saturday, November 22 at the JW Marriott Parq Hotel Vancouver. This annual event marked 56 years of Liver Canada’s work in advancing research, education, and public awareness surrounding liver health.
Nebula contributed a musical offering to the evening, with Hannah Ernst (soprano) and Wanshuai Yu (tenor) performing Verdi’s “Libiamo” from La Traviata, followed by a powerful rendition of the Phantom of the Opera duet featuring Hannah Ernst and Ming-Xuan Chung (tenor).
It was a privilege for our artists to be part of an event devoted to advocacy and community impact. Moments like these reflect Nebula’s commitment to using music as a catalyst for connection, support, and meaningful change.
